Inlays/Onlays
In dentistry, an inlay is usually an indirect restoration (filling) consisting of a solid substance (such as gold, porcelain or less often a cured composite resin) fitted to a cavity in a tooth and cemented into place. In certain cases, they are a more conservative alternative to full coverage dental crowns. Inlays and onlays can often be used in place of traditional dental fillings to treat tooth decay or similar structural damage
