A bridge is a fixed replacement for a missing tooth or teeth. It’s made by taking an impression of the surrounding teeth, which will eventually support the bridge. A bridge is usually created from precious metal and porcelain and will be fixed in your mouth (unlike dentures, which can be removed).<\/p>\n

Conventional bridge<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>\u2013 is where you are cutting down the teeth on either side of the gap to support a bridge that replaces the missing teeth or tooth.<\/p>\n

Maryland Bridge<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>(Sticky Bridge) – Maryland bonded bridges can also be called a resin-bonded bridge, is a conservative option as the teeth are not cut down, but a metal wing(s) with a false tooth (teeth) are bonded to your existing teeth either side of the gap.<\/p>\n
